CED at AABC Las Vegas 2025: Advancing Exploration for the Global Battery Supply Chain

CED attended the Advanced Automotive Battery Conference (AABC) 2025, held in Las Vegas from December 9–12, 2025, where global leaders in battery technology, electric vehicles, and critical minerals gathered to shape the future of energy storage and electrification.

Participation in AABC Las Vegas provided CED with valuable exposure to the rapidly evolving battery sector, particularly the increasing demand for critical minerals such as rare earth elements, lithium, and nickel. The event brought together automotive OEMs, battery manufacturers, mining companies, and technology innovators—creating a strong platform for collaboration across the entire supply chain.

For CED, the conference reinforced the growing need for cost-effective, high-performance exploration drilling solutions to support the discovery and development of essential battery minerals. Our capabilities in diamond drilling, reverse circulation (RC), and air core drilling, along with our turnkey approach to exploration, align closely with the industry’s push for efficiency and scalability.

Engagements throughout the event highlighted the importance of mobility and adaptability in exploration programs. This aligns with CED’s ongoing development of next-generation drilling rigs, including Land Cruiser 6x6-mounted air core and diamond rigs, designed for remote and fast-moving exploration environments.
